Randall-Reilly signs exclusive distribution agreement with Pilot Travel Centers
Agreement adds 329 exclusive locations to company’s truck stop distribution network.
TUSCALOOSA, ALA. (June 12, 2009) – Beginning in September, Randall-Reilly’s Truck Stops Express Division will have exclusive rights to distribute its trucking publications – and those of its distribution partners – in 329 Pilot Travel Center locations nationwide. The exclusive agreement brings TSE’s distribution network to more than 1,000 locations.
“We are very excited about this long-term agreement with the largest truck stop chain in the nation,” says Robert Lake, Randall-Reilly’s senior vice president of acquisitions. “When the trucking industry rebounds in the coming months, the demand for truck drivers will be at historic highs,” he said. “This exclusive agreement will ensure that Randall-Reilly is in the best possible position to serve the needs of its advertisers and distribution partners with the most comprehensive distribution network in the industry.”
“We are pleased to offer Randall-Reilly trucking publications exclusively at our travel centers nationwide,” said Jimmy Haslam, president and CEO of Pilot Travel Centers. “This agreement enhances our ability to meet the travel and business needs of our customers. Professional drivers can visit our travel centers to rest and refuel, get what they need, pick up a magazine and get back on the road.”
Randall-Reilly distributes eight of its magazines in truck stops each month – Truckers News, NextTruck, Best Driver Jobs, Big Rig Owner, Changing Lanes, Driving Force, Owner-Operator/Company Driver and RPM for Truckers. Through its Interactive Media Division, the company is also the dominant player in the online driver application segment of the recruitment market. Combined with Randall-Reilly’s Motor Media Division – the nation’s largest indoor signage network – these capabilities make Randall-Reilly the premier media company in the truck stop distribution and driver recruitment markets.
